What does it cost to have an eye test at Aspley Optical House?

At Aspley Optical House, we offer bulk-billing of eye tests for all eligible patients, covered by Medicare at no cost to you. All you have to do is bring your Medicare card to your appointment, and we’ll take care of everything else.

Please note: There is a charge of $30 for advanced digital imaging (if required).

What should I bring to my first appointment?

  • Your current glasses and/or contact lenses.
  • If you want your contact lenses to be checked please come wearing them.
  • If you want a new prescription for glasses but also wear contact lenses please wear your glasses (at least for a few hours beforehand) but bring your contact lenses so we can check them too.
  • Your Medicare card any private health insurance card.

Where are you located?

Based in the centre of Aspley, Aspley Optical House is conveniently located just off the traffic lights. This is just 100m east of Gympie Road, on the corner of Centre and Robinson Road.

Where should I park when I arrive for my appointment?

There is access to off-street parking, which means you can relax in the grounds when you arrive.
